During his stay in Vorarlberg, Federal President Van der Bellen was informed about the AMooRe (Austrian Moor Restoration) project and visited Vorarlberg’s largest peatland area, the Rhine delta.
On the occasion of this year’s World Wetlands Day, the LIFE AMooRe project was officially launched at a press conference on 1 February 2024 with Federal Minister Gewessler, Director-General Mörth and the provincial councillors Zadra (Vorarlberg), Lackner (Styria) and Rosenkranz (Lower Austria).
From 6th to 8th March 2024, the kick-off meeting of the project partners took place in Bregenz. The meeting was rounded off with an exciting excursion to a project area.
