The aims of the meeting were, on the one hand, to discuss administrative and technical tasks and, on the other, to grow together as a team. The meeting was opened by the head of department Dr. Christian Berger and project manager Mag.a Christiane Machold. Lectures and workshops alternated so that the project partners could return home after the three days packed with information to start working. In his speech on the last day, State Councillor for the Environment Daniel Zadra (Vorarlberg) emphasised the importance of mires and the project, providing a further boost of motivation for all participants.
